MELISSA MERCIER

Announcing Solo Exhibition

I am very proud to announce my first solo exhibition! From August 18th until October 16th, “Peur irrationelle des espaces clos” / “Irrational fear of confined spaces” will be displayed in the Canadian national landmark Maison sir Étienne-Paschal-Taché. The house was originally built for Sir Étienne-Paschal Taché one of the Fathers of Confederation and it is a treasured part of Canadian history. Famed artist Jean-Paul Riopelle lived in the house from 1991 to 1993. The exhibition, curated by Jean Beaulieu, will include some of my more familiar pieces and some brand new work as well.

Opening reception: Friday August 19th, 5pm to 8pm
37, Avenue Sainte-Marie, Montmagny, Québec

Ciao
Melissa
