MELISSA MERCIER

Heading To Toronto Tomorrow

I will always remember the day I first saw Toronto.  It was back in 2000. I had decided that it was time to learn english so I packed my volkswagen golf with all by belongings and started driving. As soon as I made it out of Quebec and the signs turned all in English, I started feeling smaller and smaller. I kept seeing “carpool” written on the side of the highway and spent the whole trip trying to figure out what it could possibly mean.. The direct traduction kept leading me towards car wash and wondered if maybe this was going to be much harder than I thought if I couldn’t even understand road signs. But all my worries disappeared when I finally saw all the skyline at night. the CN tower and the skydome taking over . I thought it was absolutely gorgeous and just couldn’t wait to explore it. My 2 years in Toronto turned out to be one of the best time in my life and I’m really excited to go back Toronto, this time to show everybody what I have been up to with my photography!

See you at the Gladstone Hotel tomorrow.

Ciao
Melissa
